ServicesHeavy Jet Charter

Heavy Jet Charter Flights From Beech Grove

With a heavy jet you get a cabin tall enough to walk upright, space to sleep and enough range to cross an ocean or a continent without stopping. We spell out what that means for your trip, find the aircraft that fits and price it in one all-inclusive quote.

Heavy jets in plain terms, and when to book one

For most charter passengers, the heavy jet is the biggest aircraft they will ever book. Examples include the Gulfstream G450 and G550, the Dassault Falcon 900 and the Bombardier Global family. A typical cabin holds about 12 to 16 people and often has a divan that folds into a bed, a full galley and a private lavatory in the rear.

Range is what you are really paying for. From central Indiana, a heavy jet can usually reach Europe, the West Coast or farther with no fuel stop, and its baggage hold is larger than any smaller class offers. If the trip is a two-hour flight for four, a light or midsize jet tends to be the better buy, and we will say that.

Each flight we book is flown by an FAA-certified Part 135 air carrier, which is the U.S. standard for on demand commercial charter.

What your heavy jet charter includes

A cabin you can stand and walk in

Most heavy jets have a cabin height above six feet, so you can move around, change seats and stretch on a long flight. Seating is usually split into zones for working, dining and resting.

Two pilots and often a flight attendant

Long-range flights are crewed by two pilots, and most heavy jets fly with a cabin attendant who handles meals and service in flight. On very long legs the operator may add crew so duty limits are respected.

Catering and a full galley

We pass your meal preferences and dietary needs to the operator ahead of departure. A heavy jet galley can serve hot meals, which matters on an eight-hour crossing.

Room for real luggage

Golf bags, ski gear, trade show cases and a week of clothing for a family fit easily. The baggage hold is usually reachable in flight on many models.

WIFI and pets on board

We can match you with WIFI equipped aircraft so work continues in the air. Pets are allowed, and we confirm each operator's rules before you book.

Signs a heavy jet is the right fit

  • You are flying overseas

Transatlantic and long international trips are where this class earns its cost. A nonstop departure avoids a fuel stop and the delay that comes with it.

  • Your group is larger than eight

Once a group passes eight or nine passengers, a midsize cabin gets tight. A heavy jet keeps everyone comfortable and on one aircraft.

  • You need to sleep on the way

Overnight flights call for flat surfaces to lie down. Many heavy jets offer several divans that convert to beds.

  • The schedule leaves no slack

When a board meeting, a family event or a contract signing will not move, the extra range and speed reduce the chance of an unplanned stop. Our phone line is answered 24/7 for time-sensitive trips.

How a heavy jet trip comes together

  1. 1

    Talk through the trip

Share the destination, dates, passenger count and what you are bringing. We tell you plainly whether a heavy jet or a super-midsize jet is the better match.

  2. 2

Compare aircraft and get one price

We show you fitting aircraft from Part 135 operators and explain how they differ in cabin, range and age. The quote shows the full cost, and no hidden costs are added afterward.

  3. 3

    Sort out the details

We handle catering, ground transport requests and passenger details. On international trips we remind you to bring passports and explain the customs process when you land.

  4. 4

    Flight day

Get to the FBO, usually a short drive from Beech Grove, a little before departure. You skip the terminal lines, and your bags move straight from your car onto the jet.

Where a heavy jet charter price comes from

An hour in a heavy jet costs more than in a smaller class, since it burns more fuel and flies with a bigger crew. Pricing is point to point, so a one-way flight is never billed at round trip pricing. The quote is all-inclusive, and the items below are what shape it.

Hours aloft
Most of the price follows the time in the air. Flying nonstop frequently costs less in total than taking a smaller jet that must land for fuel.
The jet's starting airport
When the aircraft is based somewhere else, it may have to fly in ahead of your trip. We search for jets parked near you to hold that charge down.
Crew stays and days on the ground
Trips lasting several days add crew hotel costs and time the jet spends parked. A brief wait is priced differently from a longer stay.
Fees abroad
International trips bring landing, handling, overflight and customs charges. We include them in the quote instead of billing them later.
Age of the aircraft and cabin
Newer jets and freshly refurbished interiors tend to cost more per hour. We lay out the difference so you can decide what is worth it.

Questions about heavy jet charter

Something not covered here? (317) 316-8720

How many people fit on a heavy jet?

A typical layout seats roughly 12 to 16. Some cabins trade seats for extra sleeping room. We check the exact seating of each aircraft before you book.

Can we fly from Indianapolis to Europe without stopping?

Usually. Many jets in this class reach the major European cities nonstop, though passengers, bags and winter headwinds all play a part. We confirm the range for your route and load.

Is there a program or future commitment involved?

No. There are no long term commitments. You book a single trip, and each flight gets its own quote.

Does a heavy jet make sense inside the U.S.?

For a big group or a coast-to-coast trip where a smaller jet would need fuel, it can. For shorter flights with fewer passengers, a midsize or light jet generally costs less and is just as pleasant. We compare them for you honestly.

Are empty legs available on heavy jets?

At times. Heavy jets reposition empty too, and those flights can save real money when your dates and route can bend. Mention it on the call and we will look at what is available.

Planning a long flight or a larger group?

Tell us your route, dates and passenger count, and we will explain your heavy jet options and give you one all-inclusive price.
