ServicesLight Jet Charter
Light Jet Charter in Beech Grove
A light jet carries a small group at true jet speed on trips of roughly one to three hours. We explain what the cabin is like, how far it goes, and what the price includes, so you know before you book whether this is the right aircraft.
Light jets in plain terms, and when to pick one
Among common business jets, the light jet is the smallest. Typical models carry four to seven passengers in leather club seats, fly high above the weather that slows smaller aircraft and reach a wide range of Midwest and East Coast cities without stopping. Picture flying to Chicago, Nashville or Atlanta and being home for dinner the same day.
What you give up is room. You sit comfortably, but the ceiling is usually too low to stand straight, and there is limited space for bags. A few coworkers with briefcases or a family with soft bags will rarely notice. For bigger groups or longer distances we will steer you to midsize jet charter, and on very short hops turboprop charter may cost less.
FAA-certified Part 135 air carriers operate every flight we book, which is the federal standard for on demand commercial charter.

What comes with a light jet charter
- 01
A quote with everything in it
The aircraft, flight time, fuel, crew and the taxes and fees for your route all appear on the quote. Once you say yes, no hidden costs turn up.
- 02
Priced point to point
You pay for your own trip only. On a one-way flight, round trip pricing never applies just because the aircraft has to return empty.
- 03
A two-pilot crew
Two pilots typically fly a chartered light jet. Most do not carry a flight attendant, so the pilots go over the cabin with you before takeoff.
- 04
Departing from an FBO
You leave from a private terminal, known as an FBO, instead of the airline terminal. Park nearby, pass through a calm lounge and be aboard in minutes.
- 05
Pets and WIFI
Pets can fly, and WIFI equipped aircraft are available if you need to work en route. Let us know early so we pick the right aircraft for the trip.
Questions about Light Jet Charter?
Call(317) 316-8720When a light jet makes sense
You are traveling with a few people
The cabin is most comfortable with four to six aboard. A few models take seven, though the space feels crowded.
The trip takes less than about three hours
Regional flights are where light jets shine. Past that point, a bigger aircraft starts to win on range and comfort.
You want to return the same day
Leave in the morning, fly back in the evening, and you can meet in another city without booking a hotel.
You are packing light
A few roller bags and golf bags typically fit. Several big hard-shell cases might not, which is why we ask about luggage when quoting.
Airline times do not fit your day
If a connection would eat up most of your day, flying direct into a smaller airport close to where you are going often fixes the problem.
From booking to wheels up
- 1
Go over the trip together
On a phone or video call we cover dates, passengers, luggage, pets and any times that are fixed. Then we explain your aircraft choices in everyday language.
- 2
Look over the quote
We take you through an all-inclusive quote for the best-fitting light jet, plus any sensible alternatives. Ask about any line item before you commit.
- 3
Confirm and get ready
After you confirm, we send the FBO details, the departure time and what passengers need. Every adult should bring a government ID.
- 4
Show up and take off
Aim to reach the FBO 15 to 20 minutes ahead of departure. The crew stows your luggage, and you are usually in the air soon after you board.
Where a light jet price comes from
Hours in the air set most of a light jet price, so distance and routing count above all else. Our quotes are point to point, which keeps one-way travel fairly priced. These are the things that shift the figure.
- Route and time aloft
- A longer trip costs more, and headwinds on certain routes stretch the flight. A fuel stop on a leg close to the aircraft's maximum range adds to the price as well.
- The aircraft's home airport
- When the nearest suitable jet sits somewhere else, the time to bring it over can show up in the price. A little give in your timing sometimes lets us find one that is already close.
- Waiting and overnight stays
- When the crew waits or stays the night ahead of your return, their expenses and any parking charges are built into the quote.
- Time of year and late booking
- Holidays and busy weekends leave fewer aircraft open. Last-minute trips can still come together, at any hour if needed, but you will have fewer aircraft to choose from.
Common light jet questions
How many passengers fit in a light jet?
Seating usually runs from four to seven. How many you can comfortably take depends on luggage and distance, because added weight shortens range. We confirm a sensible number for your trip as part of the quote.
Does a light jet have a restroom?
That comes down to the model. Some have an enclosed lavatory and others a simpler one. If it matters to your group, say so and we will only quote aircraft that have what you need.
Is there room to stand?
Not really. A light jet cabin is built for sitting comfortably, with about enough height to move around hunched over. If you want to stand, look at super-midsize jet charter.
Can our dog come along?
Yes, pets can fly. Tell us how many animals and how big they are so the operator can plan seats and any carrier needs.
Do I need a contract or prepaid hours?
No. You make no long term commitments. Book the trips you need, and each one is priced separately.
